Junior Herdsman Award

Bronze and Silver Awards
Haley Throne, Lexington, right, received her Bronze and Silver Awards at the 2014 Georgia Angus Association Annual Meeting and Banquet, Jan. 25 in Athens, GA. The Bronze and Silver Awards are the first two levels of the National Junior Angus Association Recognition Program. Juniors must apply for the awards and then meet point requirements in many areas of participation before receiving them. Hall of Fame - Blalock
The Georgia Angus Association (GAA) posthumously inducted Robert L. Blalock, Athens, with the Georgia Angus Hall of Fame award at the 2014 Georgia Angus Association Annual Meeting and Banquet, Jan. 25 in Athens, GA. This program was established by the GAA to recognize individuals that have made significant contributions to the Angus industry in Georgia and across the country.
